Luego de casi ocho años me decidí por fin a terminar este manga， que en su momento llegué a calificar hasta de cinco estrellas。 El tiempo trascurrido hizo lo suyo al cambiar un poco mi percepción de esta historia。 Aún fue bonita y dulce， pero tal vez no ayudó que yo no recordaba el exceso de comedia que tenía， y si bien no es malo， fue mi culpa haber olvidado ese detalle tan importante porque， junto al romance， es la esencia de KamiHaji y de donde viene parte de su encanto。 Los personajes siguen Luego de casi ocho años me decidí por fin a terminar este manga， que en su momento llegué a calificar hasta de cinco estrellas。 El tiempo trascurrido hizo lo suyo al cambiar un poco mi percepción de esta historia。 Aún fue bonita y dulce， pero tal vez no ayudó que yo no recordaba el exceso de comedia que tenía， y si bien no es malo， fue mi culpa haber olvidado ese detalle tan importante porque， junto al romance， es la esencia de KamiHaji y de donde viene parte de su encanto。 Los personajes siguen siendo entrañables y la historia de amor de los protagonistas aún es muy bonita。 Pero como dije， la recordaba de otra manera， y me terminó pareciendo más ligera y menos grandiosa de lo que recordaba。 Aún así fue linda， y su final me gustó mucho。 。。。more

Absolutely cute and amazingI enjoyed every volume。 I fell in love with Tomoe as well。 I love his expressions and the love that him and Namami share。 I wanted more adventures with them。 I wish Namami couldve become Yokai instead of Tomoe becoming human so they never had to leave the shrine。 I wanted to what became of others relationships like Himeneko and Kotaro。 I love it still

Series Review Review of volumes 1-10 hereExcuse me while I feel all the emotions。 This was exceptionally fun， and continues in the same vein as the first volumes， so I don't see someone's opinion changing after the first， say， 5 or so volumes--if you liked those （and I did）， you'll probably like the rest of the series。I watched the anime first， and I'm glad I did so--not just so I had the characters' voices already in mind， but the anime has to strip out some characters， storylines and depth Series Review Review of volumes 1-10 hereExcuse me while I feel all the emotions。 This was exceptionally fun， and continues in the same vein as the first volumes， so I don't see someone's opinion changing after the first， say， 5 or so volumes--if you liked those （and I did）， you'll probably like the rest of the series。I watched the anime first， and I'm glad I did so--not just so I had the characters' voices already in mind， but the anime has to strip out some characters， storylines and depth （not to mention ending only about halfway through the manga， although it doesn't have a cliffhanger）， so reading the full manga series rewards with both a more engaging first half， and then of course the full story culminating in Nanami's graduation， （view spoiler）[Mikage's reappearance， Tomoe and Nanami's wedding， and a Children Ever After ending that ends up being genuinely sweet。 （hide spoiler）]While Nanami isn't a particularly unique heroine （spunky， pretty， kind， stubborn）， she's fun to read about。 Look， if I can accept land gods and pretty-boy tengu and shrine spirits， I can accept that enough genuine kindness and stubbornness in one person will win over all manner of people， and will help prevail against magic。 And as a reader， I want her to prevail， I want her to survive， or help someone， or reunite a pair， so it's very satisfying。The secondary characters are very fun--I mentioned in my previous review that sacred snake/familiar Mizuki makes the most excellent third wheel， and that remains true throughout the series。 It's very sweet， because while he loves Nanami， his emotional neeeds don't need that reciprocated in romantic terms--he needs to be needed， he wants to be wanted， and it's incredibly fun to see him hanging around， not trying to compete with Tomoe as Nanami's paramour， but making connections。 （And when he admits he likes being Tomoe's friend， it's adorable。）The ending is no surprise， which is good， because it's been 25 entire volumes leading here and what I want isn't a surprise， it's emotional fulfillment。 。。。more

Une fin parfaite qui m'a émue aux larmes et qui se conclut à merveille。Il y a plusieurs années j'ai découvert kamisama kiss par son animé et j'ai été rapidement emballée par les 2 saisons。。。 saisons qui ne recouvrait pas toute la série donc je me suis intéressée aux mangas。 Puis j'ai découvert qu'il y avait eu des OST qui prenait la suite et au final le manga s'est terminé au Japon。 J'ai encore attendu quelques années pour enfin me lancer dans le manga。 Après un début timide où Nanami tombe trés Une fin parfaite qui m'a émue aux larmes et qui se conclut à merveille。Il y a plusieurs années j'ai découvert kamisama kiss par son animé et j'ai été rapidement emballée par les 2 saisons。。。 saisons qui ne recouvrait pas toute la série donc je me suis intéressée aux mangas。 Puis j'ai découvert qu'il y avait eu des OST qui prenait la suite et au final le manga s'est terminé au Japon。 J'ai encore attendu quelques années pour enfin me lancer dans le manga。 Après un début timide où Nanami tombe trés/trop vite amoureuse， la série n'a pas cessé de s'améliorer par la suite， en l'agrémentant de personnages touchants， hauts en couleur， pleins de vie et de souffrances。 Une Nanami qui s'affirme， un Tomoe qui se sensibilise et s'humanise。 De l'amour mais surtout beaucoup d'amitié。 Cela faisait très longtemps que je n'avais pas autant apprécié un manga et je crois que c'est vraiment la 1ere fois que j'aime autant une fin de manga。 。。。more

In my opinion， Kamisama Hajimemashite is definitely one of the BEST shoujo mangas OF ALL TIME。 PERIOD。The story is so interesting。 High schooler Nanami Momozono， who has been evicted from her house due to her father’s gambling debts， runs into a strange man who is being harassed by a dog。 After helping him， she explains her situation and surprisingly， he offers her his home in gratitude。 However， upon arriving， she finds out that it is just a rundown shrine。 Nanami then meets two shrine spirits In my opinion， Kamisama Hajimemashite is definitely one of the BEST shoujo mangas OF ALL TIME。 PERIOD。The story is so interesting。 High schooler Nanami Momozono， who has been evicted from her house due to her father’s gambling debts， runs into a strange man who is being harassed by a dog。 After helping him， she explains her situation and surprisingly， he offers her his home in gratitude。 However， upon arriving， she finds out that it is just a rundown shrine。 Nanami then meets two shrine spirits and a fox named Tomoe。 Tomoe abruptly rejects the fact that the strange man， who was the owner of the shrine， has given Nanami his mark to become the shrine land god。 Unable to accept the new master， Tomoe leaves。 Without his power， Nanami can’t keep things in the shrine run smoothly。 In her fumbling attempt to seek out Tomoe， she lands in trouble and ends up sealing a contract with him。 Their journey of becoming a great land god and familiar starts from there。The plot develops so well in this manga。 Everything is related to each others， there is no unnecessary scene at all。 And the story becomes more and more meaningful as you go on reading。The characters in this manga are so AWESOME！ If you have already watched and become a fan of it， you’ll know what I mean。 If not yet， let me tell you why they are awesome。 （I was so excited backthen lol）I love the female protagonist， Nanami。 She is a funny， lovely and strong girl。 Nanami has a happy childhood， but it soon turns into a sad chapter of her life after her mother passes away。 However， Nanami never complains。 She takes it like a champ！ She loves to smile and brings happiness to the people around her。 Despite the lack of power， she always tries her best to complete her duties as a land god。 It’s shoujo manga so she will fall in love with someone eventually。 She likes her familiar Tomoe， but poor Nanami got rejected so many times。 I remember when she first confesses to Tomoe， he carries her to the top of a building and threatens to drop her from there if she continues to like him…I feel bad laughing at that I know she was very sad （*≧▽≦）ﾉｼ））The male protagonist， Tomoe， used to be my imaginary boyfriend （*/ω＼）（of course who wouldn’t fall for him） *19 year-old me screaming* （He sets the trend of cool inhuman bf）He used to be evil。 He hates human because they are such lame and vulnerable creatures。 However， he has changed after falling in love with a human。 He sees their good sides and experiences the feeling of being loved by someone， which he never had when he was still a youkai （a demon/monster）。 Tomoe loves her so much that he makes a contract with the demon to become a human like her。 However， she dies soon after that and Tomoe has to suffer the pain from that contract。 He then meets Mikage。 Mikage helps erase his memories and take him in his shrine as a familiar。 They lives peacefully in the shrine， but not long before Mikage leaves the shrine to Nanami’s hands。Despite Tomoe’s cold feeling towards her， Nanami doesn’t try to force him。 She respects his feeling and silently helps him open up to her。 The plot in Tomoe’s past is so brilliant！ It shows how Tomoe and Nanami are perfect for each others and they deserve to be happy till the very end。 Tomoe doesn’t admit his feeling for Nanami， but unconciously always seek for her。There are a lot of great characters， like Mizuki， another familiar of Nanami; Kurama the tengu; Onikiri and Kotetsu; Akura-Ou the devil or Otohiko the gay god （lol）Honestly， you will like all of them， even the evil ones。 Everyone has a will to live and always tries their best to achieve what they are looking for in lives。 There is no word great enough to express the ending。 It’s truly the best ending ever。 Not everything goes the way the characters want， but they all finds their shelters and realize something important in lives。 It completes them， complete the story and complete my heart。 I’m especially happy for the villain， Akura-Ou。 He deserves that ending， because after all he just wants a have a friend， and it’s amazing that he is still able to keep his past memory and contact with Tomoe。 Plus， it cracks me up seeing him like that ｡ﾟ（TヮT）ﾟ｡The art style is my favorite。 It reminds me of old Japanese manga style。 The voice acting and soundtracks are on point！ My favorite is the first intro song。 I usually get tired of songs quickly and move on to new favorites， but I still have this song in my current playlist。 I didn’t listen to enjoy the beat or whatever， it just reminds me of all the fun memory in the comic。 I start remembering this scene， and that scene， and laugh， and the song is over lol。 I think everyone has a thing like this？ We keep them not because they are super good， but they are a switch to turn on a good memory。Reading this manga is definitely a memory that I’ll never forget。 It’s one of those stories you just want to erase your memory so that you can read it again （ಥ﹏ಥ）Thank you so much for reading ٩（◕‿◕｡）۶ Like my review？ Read more reviews at https://mimihouse911545484。wordpress。。。。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 literally mind blown 🤯 since last night at how it ended。。 i’m sad that it ended。 I wanted to know more of the technical details， I guess。 will she be able to see both worlds again and how will tomoe and the baby be able to see too？for me， I wished nanami didn’t leave and stayed a god and I wanted tomoe to become one too somehow so their love could exist forever 😭✨
